King And Country Christmas Truce 1914 Diorama

I made a diorama with a
WW1 1914 Princess Mary Christmas Gift Tin box
The tin box is a 101 year old christmas gift from the daughter of King George V and Queen Mary.
The princess had an idea to give every British soldier a Christmas gift on 1914. The first Christmas of the war, unfortunately, not the last Christmas of the war,
In the box were cigarette, tobacco, for non-smokers a pencil in a bullet casing, chocolate and in every box a Christmas card and photos of the king, queen and princess.

I made a diorama with two sets KC: XM014-02 and FW021.
The rest is home made.
And out respect for history, the tin box is so use that nothing ruined is of the box

Beautifully done Harry, a true work of art.

We are lucky to have one of these boxes, it was my wife's grandfather's and takes pride of place amongst the family war memorabilia.
