Set in the last few days before D-Day, all about the Prime Minister reactions to this monumental event. Good movie, my wife liked it. A little slow, but keeps you interested, no big scenes so guessing it was a low budget film to produce. Robin.

It would be nice if you put up a link or a trailer. There are probably 101 Churchill movies.

Just a guess:

Whilst I appreciate that movies always play with the historical script to add some drama to the product it has always seemed to me that the best films of this genre do better if they stick, as closely as is reasonable, to a well researched version of actual events. The great personalities and deeds of history need little in the way of fictional embellishment to entertain and educate. Clearly dialogue has to be invented ...who knows what Chard actually said to Bromhead at Rorke's Drift ..but it needs to be "in character ". There is enough on Winnie in his own hand and reported to allow a decent representation of the man. What a shame that such a potentially interesting film opportunity appears to have been squandered.

Thanks for the trailer, however as a matter of interest this is not same film currently released on this thread, this is yet again another version of Churchill. Robin.
