Lynne Olson, who wrote Troublesome Young Men about the small group of Tories who unseated Chamberlain, has written a new book that looks equally as good. It's about the Americans who stood by Britain during the dark days and egged the Roosevelt administration into closer cooperation with Churchill. The books centers on Gil Winant, made Ambassador in early 1941, Ed Murrow and Averill Harriman.

I've started it and if you liked her prior book, you'll like this one.
