I'm not sure where to exactly put this so here goes. I've never really looked at blogs until very recently but I've come across a couple that I keep up with and are interesting for a Civil War enthusiast.

The first is Civil War Books and Authors. The author reviews a lot of different and interesting books and has links to some other interesting blogs. He just recently reviewed a bio of Jefferson Davis that looks mighty interesting.

Another one that I like is the A Lincoln Blog by Brian Dirck, an Associate Professor of History at Anderson University who teaches and writes about the Civil War and military history. He has several books to his name that look to have been well received.

I'm resurrecting this for those who might be interested in the CWBA site. One of the books they've reviewed recently (January) that seems interesting is "Orlando Poe: Civil War General and Great Lakes Engineer," who after the Civil War constructed several Great Lakes lighthouses that are still in use today.
