Steve,
I have to disagree on the standing firing pose. I have a good number of Marksmen/Replicant figures (i just posted some on my blog) and the pose is quite different. Now the wounded firing pistol figure REALLY looks like the IDEAL set.
The other thing is that a firing pose is a firing pose, there are just so many ways to make a figure firing. I just wish that the poses had the legs in the manual positions to built proper ranks.
The reaching for cartridge lying down pose would look great standing up :rolleyes2:.
Sorry, I was calling the Andy Gard figures, IDEAL are they the same?
The one Gawdawfull pose we didn't need is this one...
Originally it was thought they were Ideal and indeed many people referred to them as Ideal, it was found out later that they were actually Andy Gard. Andy Gard also did a Cowboys and Indians set and in my opinion some of the nicest cowboys ever done, although some of the colors and the injection marks left something to be desired.
Well you could use him for the Alamo but unless the man was injured during the Seige, he wouldn't have time in the morning attack to get such a leg splint.
