This is quite good although I've just watch two episode so far. A period drama that the BBC does so well.

The seven-part series, opens in 1946 in a London hotel where the rooms overlook bomb-damage rubble and “faded grandeur” is the decorating motif. T-Force — a secretive unit whose mission is to sweep up German scientists and engineers and their knowledge before competing powers (especially the Soviet Union) can get them — has set up shop there, with the scruffy and risk-taking Callum overseeing things.
His assignment is to win over Dieter), an aeronautical engineer, who along with his young daughter, Lotte , has been forcibly brought from Germany and is essentially a prisoner in the hotel. The British desperately want his help in developing a plane that can break the sound barrier, but Dieter won’t cooperate.

What did you think of Close to the enemy ?

I liked it. Not much suspense, but did give some insight in the scramble by the Allies after WWII
into exploiting Nazi science. Some war criminals were "forgiven." Thus, the dilemma of the main character.
