Anyone interested in joining John Jenkin's Collector's Club....here are some close-ups of the first offering.

Face, hands, painting, pose, uniform, weapons, weight, strength.....it's a really nice piece.

Some of his best work yet....this really is a cool figure:cool:

Just got home and my Jenkins figure was there .I opened the package and looked at it.Pretty nice figure.I picked it up and much to my dismay there was no left hand.I looked in the box and there it was.It had broken off.I just emailed my dealer and I'm sure he will solve my problem. This is the first time I ever had a damaged figure.I was just bragging this up on a thread a few weeks ago. That will teach me to keep my mouth shut.:(:(

I hate when that happens!:mad::mad::mad:

It's so rare John's figures come in with any damage....very rare....they are just so sturdy and thick.

I'm sure your dealer will be more than happy to accomodate you with a brand new one to replace it.

I'm sure he will too.Even though I never met him he seems to be a very good person as most dealers are.

Thanks for the closeups, Mike,
that's a good looking figure.
Now I just ordered mine.

My dealer said to send him pictures so he can see the damage so I just sent them to him. It's a pretty clean break and normally might try to glue it or have someone fix it but this is a collector piece and Jenkins first one at that.

You bought a new figure and you should get a perfect one....I wouldn't re_glue it.....I'm positive he will replace it....if not...contact John...he would frown on that and rectify the matter I'm sure.

Marco, just to let you know you're not alone, my CC figure also showed up with a broken left hand. :(

My dealer got back to me last night and said when the new batch arrives he will send me a new one.

Got my replacement tonight.Had nice christmas card from Mr. Jenkins in it apologizing for the damaged piece. The left hand was carefully wrapped in tissue paper.I took it off and guess what. The F...king hand was off this one too.It is not meant for me to have this figure. As a matter of fact I don't want it.If anybody wants both figures they can have them for $35.Lower 48 only.I'll pay shipping.PM me if interested.

I've cooled off now.I'm not mad at anybody,Just was disappointed as this was the second one.The dealer would probably send another but it's embarrassing to have to tell him again. These could be fixed by putting a pin in if you got the tools and the patience which I don't have either with tiny objects.

Wow....

I cannot believe that...what a shame.

I promise you this.....

John stands behind his work and he will make it right.

Send him an email or contact your dealer...

John is the greatest guy to work with and he is genuinely concerned with your satisfaction.

Give him a chance and he will make it up to you....I'm so sad for you...how disappointing.

Such a shame...cause Lt. Jenkins is such an ornate and beautifully posed figure...I would contact John if I were you.

Please let me know how you resolve this issue...I'm curious...you can PM me if you want to remain discreet.

Don't be embarrassed to contact John...I really believe he would want to know.

Your dealer should definitely send another on...or again...contact John personally...the trouble with going through John is the time and shipping cost...you don't want to mend it yourself...I'm sure your dealer will send you another...I feel bad for you Mark.

Per John's website, he will announce the number of club sets #1 (Halkett & son) that will be produced on Nov. 6

I still am offering these to anybody interested,To be honest I only really collect the Snowshoes range.I joined the collectors club in case any of the club figures are for the Snoeshoes range.
