Hatman...I may be wrong...but sadly...I think this set signals the end of Snow Shoes...I hope I'm wrong...it's hard for me accept that it's over and really believe it was such a popular issue that if JJ decided to keep this series coming...it would be openly accepted...

Pringle is a nice figure...great face features, loading his pistols in his weathered jacket with snow on it...great detail

the sculpting on his hands looks really nice as do the canteen, mitts, hatchet and satchel...it breaks my heart to see this series end...

I hope JJ will do a Sgt. Beaubien for St. Francis or even for Snow Shoes...I need my wolf/dog....:D

I agree Michael, this is my favorite series and I also hope it will continue even threw the club. I received my club set yesterday, its a good looking set.

Hi Michael;
I really hope this isn't the end either; The "Snow Shoes" range is one of my favorites. John is in England now for a show; there should be more announcements by the middle of this month. I'm keeping my fingers crossed; maybe there will be another club set in the not too distant future and hopefully it will be snow shoes again.

Titus...this figure...Ensign Andrew Ross,

had been recommended to Rogers for the rank of Ensign in a new company of Rangers, which was commanded by William Stark...

it's good to see a colorful Scot from the 42nd Black Watch Regiment...

as he was enlisted under Stark...who befriended the wolf/dog Beaubien...there is still a chance that Beaubien will make his debut in the Snow Shoe's series with Stark himself...I know JJ talked about doing him and then being displeased with the original...he may still make him...I hope so...he's a celebrity...gotta be the only dog in the FIW commissioned as a sergeant with sergeants pay...

I don't want this series to end...

Ron...this may be an extended trip for John...J know he wants to make both London shows in the near and is anxious to see his father and family...he may be unveiling somwething at the show this week as he has told me in the past...he hates to go to the shows with nothing new...I guess we will see...I know i'm sounding like a broken record...but I would love to see that dog and Stark...

I never saw this one even listed on John's website. Anyone know the final tally as to how many were made?

I think that site is in need of some serious updating...the last update on the "Product List" is March 2010...:)

It should come with a card that indicates how many were made. I haven't received mine yet.

I'm sorry Doug...

sometimes the obvious is just too much for me...:eek:...

my card says 366 LE...

Thanks Mike. That's the fewest so far - I think. It probably didn't help sales that John never listed it. LOL. I'm sure he has plenty to do though with all our requests. ;)
