Came across this in an old 1943 Magazine. Quite interesting I thought.

I wonder how many of these exist,,,having restored many old britains in various poor shape I wonder if any are in my collection,,,thanks for the post

You're welcome. Yes the fella certainly had a large collection and one would imagine that there may well be survivors from it in other peoples collections today.

It was nice that it was a colour photo too as few pictures at that time especially during the war were, nearly all being B&W.

I know I have seen other photos pertaining to Britain's TS in the past. One in particular I remember, purported to show Toy Cannons captured from a German merchant man being painted at Britain's factory around about 1940/41. Propaganda or truth !?
I'm sure people familiar with Britain's products of the time would before the factory went over to munitions would be able to tell if so. I will try and find again time permitting.
