King & Country has sent the following to Collectors Club Members:

"Dear Online Collectors Club members,

Over the past several years we have enjoyed providing you, our valued members, with the highest quality products and services. Our commitment to supplying King & Country’s online Collectors Club members with products that are of the highest quality, yet still affordable, is something we take very seriously.

However, due to current market and industry conditions, effective 1st August, 2008 enrolment fees and club figure prices will be adjusted as follows:

One Year

Enrolment Fee $48
Early Bird Renewal Fee $45
Additional Club Figure Unit Price $29

Two Years

Enrollment Fee US$ 88
Early Bird Renewal Fee US$ 80

One-year renewal fee without free figure will be US$ 32

10% Postage will be applied to additional club figures

Membership renewals completed (and orders for club figure shipped) on or before 31st July, 2008 will be honored at current price levels.

(Existing prices will be applied only while figure stocks last. Any merchandise on back order and not available for shipment on or before 31st July 2008 will be adjusted to the new price level.)

Thank you for your attention.

Please note Handschar N.C.O. (CF008) is being retired, so place your order while the stock lasts!

We are also pleased to announce 3 new club figures will be available this August! You may see the details in the attached image."

The three figures, as previously announced are,

CF 016 Bobby Woll
CF 017 Skinner's Horse Trooper
CF 018 Scinde's Horse Trooper

Unfortunately, the photo can't be reduced to a proper size. I would be happy to send the email to anyone who can host it from their site.

CFO16 is an awesome choice! As a former Cav tanker I can tell you, you're only as good as the man in the gunners seat! Great choice K&C and thanks nasir for posting the pics.:)

CF08 which is now retired in out of stock and CF10 is also out of stock.

If you did not get them at the old price $23, gone I am afraid. :(

$23 to $29 = 26% increase I hope this is not a sign of the future.

I can live with higher fuel costs, but higher toy soldier costs. The end of world is coming.

Sign of the times. The weak US$ is killing me, and the now world-wide recession is going to get far worse before it even begins to get better.

The world is going crazy.......I just received notice that my local "authorities"

would like to install 9 speed bumps on a 1 1/2 mile stretch of road entering

my subdivision. Thats on top of the two stop signs allready present.

Don't fill the potholes......lets build obstacles on the roadway!

Wow! Thats insane. 9 speed bumps as a member of the law enforcement community I have to ask WHY? Is your subdivision located next to a race track I have never heard anything like it.

The local authorities probably over-ordered tarmac for another project and figure it's cheaper to stick road humps in than pay for landfill disposal. :(

Either that, or they're being sponsered by Bilstein Shock Absorbers...

Believe it or not its a local nutjob community activist. She apparently has
gotten the ear of someone on the local DOT and set up the necessary study
and bingo the petition appears.

I just got off the phone with her......and as usual she's hysterical.

She informed me that no one stops at the stop signs.....or obeys the speed
laws. The police are useless? Ah why not ask them to look into the situation?

I must admit having lived here for 24 years I probably haven't been here long
enough to see the problem?

Just like the countries current fiscal situation......didn't anyone see the folly
with lending 125% of the value of a home to someone whose income you didn't varify?

We watched homes on LBI in NJ escalate from $550,000 on the water to $2M
over the last 3-4 years......now the banks are all failing because they can't
give these homes away. One place we have looked at is sitting at $1.4 its
Brand New built in 2006......still unsold.

Wonder if theres any speed bumps?:D

Heres an idea why not just take the streets out alltogether!

We are probably all going to be using buckboards soon anyway, and the

dirt roads will be easier on the horses!

Wonder what they eat? Corns getting expensive.:D

Because I live overseas in Scotland the mail would probably get lost, besides I don't even always get the K&C UK postal dispatches:confused::eek::(:eek::eek::eek::confused:

Well that explains that! Have you tried King & Country UK? They are very

nice, I'm sure they can find a solution to this problem.
