One oft forgotten set of figures that EoI does, rather well, is their Colonial Collection. I have seen some of these figures but, when I went to their website yesterday, I saw more in the line- like an American artillery set from 1907 (??). Plus some early Imperial Japanese troops.

Anyone got any of these figures and like to share their thoughts??

Hi,
I've recently obtained CCB101 Royal Naval Nordenfelt Gun and CCA304 US Zalinski's Dynamite Gun. In my opinion they're very well done, albeit not up to the sculpting/painting standard of say K&C Crimean but good nontheless. I intend to collect more in this series as it's an era not covered by anyone else, and I doubt if it ever will be. I'd recommend you watch the film '55 days at Peking' to put them in context, as the series and film are both based on the Boxer Revolution of 1899-1901.

Pete
