Today I've just received the M-10 TD and I have to say it is absolutely stunning in paint and detail.
Here are the positive points :
- the two tankers have very lifelike poses.
- paint and weathering are quite well done.
- Marking of a M-10 from 823rd TDB is correct for a Battle of the Bulge tank.
- 3 removable Stowage Package that allow to give more variety to the tank.
- turret interior is well detailed.
- and finally a barrel whose tip is not blackened, as in reality.
On this subject, it should be noted that WB is the only brand that does not produce tanks with a "black nose"
(blackened barrel tip or muzzle brake) and this is a very good thing in terms of accuracy.
I still don't understand why FL, Thomas Gunn and War Park persist with this effect which is only an "artistic view" .
Of course I don't speak of the heat-resistant gray primer that can be found on a number of german guns but only of this kind of unrealistic "black powder" mark
( I think that even the napoleonic guns did not have this mark at the end of the barrel !).

A wartime photo to illustrate one of the actions of this battalion during the battle of the Bulge in December 1944.
