This is a WWII movie set in Europe. Bought it on DVD. This movie is a big disappointment. Tom Sizemore from saving Private Ryan and Neal Mcdonough from Band of Brothers are in it. Not that their performances were bad, but the plot of the movie is laughable along with poor weapons. U.S troops carrying lee enfields ??? The Tiger tanks are T-34's.....understandable since real Tigers are out of the question. They put bolt on armor on them which gives them nothing more than the look of sci-fi looking T-34 tanks. Then the plot. A squad of G.I.'s ride a train all the way through occupied Germany to reach Stuttgart so they can stop the release of a German Nuke. I have a lot of WWII movies on DVD and on a scale of
1 to 10 I would rate this one a 3. {sm2}

If I could take the DVD back to the store I would {sm2} Movies like ..., A Bridge Too Far, Saving Private Ryan, Downfall, etc... really get appreciated after watching this one .

PA, you're not alone, I fell on that trap too (in my case blu-ray style)... :rolleyes2: I think giving it a 3 kind of generous, I was so angry after I saw it that if possible I would rate it a -1! {eek3} The worse recent (1990-on) WWII flick I've seen!
More than the money, I wish I could have the time I spent whatching it back!{sm4}{sm4}{sm4}

Have not even heard of this one. But based on the description and criticisms here I will ignore it.

It does highlight the seeming inability of "Hollywood" everywhere to stick to authentic and preferably to me, factual stories. The sad fact is that too many films are made primarily aimed at the younger audiences, many of which are largely ignorant of modern history.

For people with the resources, directing, casting and cinematography talent there are a thousand great films waiting to be made around true stories.
