Here are just about every brand with the new Expeditionary Force CW infantry.

The XFORCE figs look realy neat.

I didn't compare them to BMC /Amercana, Safari, or IDEAL.

If you get enough sets of Infantry you can make the Company Captain and the two Lieutenants. The officer figure's uniforms are for junior officers in the Union Army.

Thanks for the comparison shots - those really help! These are not as badly sized as I had originally feared. As my friend Gary K points out - when painted up the size difference will hardly be noticeable. Nice research points on these posts, some excellent comments on the uniforms. I don't do much ACW but these are such nicely cast figures that I have have to purchase a few just for fun.

I doing a full paint job on the 1st ones I have. Maybe I'll have some completed figures by the weekend. I'll post photos. I can see getting the artillery set and adding the bugler to the dismounted cavalrymen plus the mounted officer as a mounted infantry colonel. These sets are waaaay to GI issue UNION to make Rebs "out of the box." (unless the Confederates had just captured a Union supply base.) Swopping the extra hat heads with the kepi heads could work.
