Completing a set (1 Viewer)

I'm very new to collecting and have a question about completing a set. I received a partial set (40177 - holding the line) for Christmas that is missing one of the figures (the bandaged soldier) and am curious if I could ever hope to find him individually? I've been back to the shop it was purchased from and it is definitely not there. Even with my limited experience I've already noticed that this particular shop mixes and matches sets, so maybe one day it'll show up again. Thanks
