Victor,

are you now going to set up these figures in a framed diorama?

I saw this one at the Plassenburg in Kulmbach when we visited there in 2017 ...

We also visited Potsdam on that trip and toured the original room...

A most memorable tour, love to go back some time !!

Hi John

i read that the Sanssouci palace is covered with characteristic checquered floor tiles. I made a coloured photocopy of a scaled pattern to use for the floor. Tested the concept with some figs

Yes, there are wooden parquetry tiles and can be seen in my photo in the place.

Here is a close up of the piano and Frederick's flute.

Thx again for yr inputs.

rgding colours, I generally follow the ptg. I note that the walls were a light green, which was replicated in that flats scene you shared. I also had previously constructed similar lt green walls. Presumably the walls were later repainted white?
The floor pattern in the ptg was a light beige brown check whereas yr pics showed lt brown dk brown. Presumably darkened over the years?
the furniture fabric was red when cf to yrpic showing pink. Presumably colour fade or new fabric?

Rgds Victor.
