Thanks for the well wishes for my dad guys, but he passed away thursday at around 4;00 pm. The stroke was really bad and he had no chance at all of recovery so we just made sure he was comfortable and had plenty of morphine in case of pain and hoped he didn,t suffer for long. He will be very missed by our family but at least he didn,t suffer for long and seamed to have gone peaceful without much pain.

Tim,

Very sorry to hear about your dad. I lost mine unexpectedly many years ago so I know a little bit how you're feeling. Also, my mother in law, back in 1993, had a terrible stroke and died a couple of days later. It was probably the best thing for her as she would have been severely incapacitated.
