It is simply the difference in the lighting between these two pictures. I have one in my hand and there has only been one production run of these.
The figure has a jacket that is a dark grey-tan...One of the many shades that some of these Confederate jackets faded to in this period.
The bedroll is grey, he has a kepi in grey with a dark blue band and trousers in sky blue Kersey.
Of the many Confederate flag bearers I have sculpted, this is one of my favorites.
