This is a superb casting - especially for a one-piece casting. The undercuts and detail are superb! Whoever did this knows what they are doing.

Is this and "in house" piece, Igor, or do you have am outside "jobber" doing this work.

I agree with PJ, that was the first thing I looked for. I'm guessing that the mold uses some inserts for the undercuts, instead of being just two halves?

Prost!
Brad

I didn't say the casting is bad but what is it.I can't tell.

Looks like a fantasy piece. The work is fine, but honestly, with some of the high tear strength RTV silicons out there now, undercuts are not much of a problem. If you look at my knight figure, you'll see an example of what a guy in his kitchen can do these days with a two piece mold (not talking about the skill of sculpting or painting...remember that!) ;) Not bragging by any means, just want everyone to know they can likewise do some things you probably could not a few years ago.

Clamped the figu using a two disc-shaped silicone , using heat and pressure molding machine, curing mold, and finally using the centrifugal casting machine casting. All the equipment purchase price of $ 2000 or so.

CaptK - I remember your peice and it is very good. Brag all you like! :D

Sunyi - that's some amazing equipment! Most of us have only a passing knowledge of casting techniques. Can you show us some examples of figures you have made?

The figure below looks to me like and 18th C Gentleman in a top hat and coat. The flash "stars" make it hard to understand.

It looks like a steam punk character to me. It's a subgenre of science fiction and fantasy, mixing late 19th century technology with typical sci-fi themes. So, you have a steam-powered tank that fires lasers, but the lenses are huge. Think of the technology in the movie version of "Wild, Wild, West", or even "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" or George Pal's version of "The Time Machine". I think that's pretty accurate, but maybe there are some steam punk fans out there.

Prost!

PJDeluhery :
Since I live in the city's apartment, at home there is not enough space to keep more than 700 pounds of heavy machinery, there is no 380V power supply. So I did not buy such equipment.
I can provide a picture, from which you can see the appearance of silicone mold turntable. This machine has commissioned many rural areas in China. Many small ornament is produced in this way.

Thanks, suyi. Those pictures help me understand your point. I can't imagine why you don't have one of these in your apartment! :D

Thanks for the picures.

Cool stuff, Igor. I'm counting on the Prince of Persia game to generate some interesting figures - like this one!!

Igor, you need to add more Seven Years War figures, especially Russians!

Prost!

We do not sell these figures. They were made for presentations or sold with the game as a set
But for you I will send
Soon I will send a parcel to Peter, and I'll put a figure for you
