Here are some new old Conte conversions, I'm using this old thread, rather than start a new one.

Mike: Nice work on the conversions. Nice to see poses that are changed some. John

Neat work Mike!
It's always good to see how many combinations the Conte figures can make.

Simon

Mike,
Awesome conversions, I have admired many of your figures before on the Hobby Bunker forum. You've a real knack for coming up with creative poses and giving them some "character". Have you ever given the Conte British Red Devils a spin? They are wonderful too and I could see you applying some of your magic to come up with new twists on those poses. Heck, maybe an Arnhem range would be coming from your workbench!:) Best regards,
Mike

Thanks Mike, there are alot of good converters, we all feed off one anothers ideas. The answer to the Conte Brit., Paras is yes. Here are some pics I have already posted before.

Once again nice great job with the magical knife and paint brush looking forward to seeing your latest converts of Conte's Gi's you started painting....The Lt.

Thanks Lt., but they are still a long way off, there are still Farmhouses to paint up for Matt and the Chicago show. I have been trying to do a few converts each day when I get the time. Here are some Conte Paras, TSSD, and Conte GI mix and match type converts. I still have to fill and bond all of them. I think it brings me somewhere in the range of about 140 converts to paint.

modwalls,

Great work again on the conversions. I've always enjoyed seeing your creations. Did you paint the Bristish Paras?

Carlos

Thanks Carlos, yes I painted them around 2001. I've seen many of your paint jobs, and I hope I can paint half as good as you. Mike:)

modwalls,

Thanks for the compliment; however, Mark at Build-A-Rama did most of them for me.

Carlos

Carlos, I stand corrected, Mark of Build a rama is a great painter. I do enjoy your dio's, I especially like your recent War in the Pacific. I believe you corrected me for that a while ago. Mike:)

Well I'm glad I asked. Great looking conversions and the painting sets them off even more. Well done.
Mike

I really like your walls modwalls. Do they take a long time to make?

KV, not really that long, but it does require alot of patience, which I know you have. I made a wooden jig, that helps me make them quicker, but the depth detail is a little time consuming. I traded alot of my stuff to Matt at Hobby Bunker. Thanks for the compliments, Mike:)
