Remember these chaps. Loved a lot of the Conte stuff. It was just too unreliable in terms of releases in the end though. Are they still alive?(they have been building that new website for quite some time!)

It's a shame they aren't still active or as active as they were. With the success of the History Channel's Vikings, I'm sure demand would be much higher for these figures.
Cheers,
Brendan

Brendan, I agree. I am really like the Viking mini-series, I am really surprised no manufacturer has jumped on that bandwagon yet.

I'm an avid Conte collector (medieval range, ACW, FIW). What manufacturer produced the church; is it still available somewhere? I recall that Conte produced a medieval church for the Vikings/Normans/Saxons range but was quite limited in number -- is that the church in the photo? Thanks.

Joel, I know there were towers and huts produced, but I do not think there was a church, unless I am mistaken.

Thanks Walt. There a couple of photo's of Joe's medieval Conte dioramas on the Conteco website that includes a church. I had never seen that particular model before, so I assumed it was a Conte church, perhaps a prototype. Anyway, I would still like to know who the manufacturer is of the church shown in NZGary's diorama.

Hi - Church was a commission build from small Wonders Model Makers

Joe,

Company is still going and does take on some commission work. They have taken down their website as most business is from word of mouth. If you PM your email I can put you in touch with each other if that would help.
