Not sure if this is good news or not, but someone from Conte's office actually e-mailed me today to confirm my pre-order, it must mean something though, perhaps that the ship didn't sink.

Ah yes I had already done that. I am thinking about adding a second set though. Maybe create some Argives for the Spartans to bash while waiting for the Persians

I reckon they might be waiting for the Persians for some time.
I think I might have mine take on the Afrika Korps to pass some time. I'm curious as to how tough those shields are.

Just thought I would pass along latest info I heard. It seems the Spartans have arrived in the USA and are soon to be on route to Conte. Shipping is expected by the end of this week or next. It is also said that the pre-order special will end once they arrive at Conte.

I just recieved a few more of the metal sets from Conte direct today.
I'll have to see how long they take to get from China to the West coast, then across the US, Atlantic, and to this lil ol island .

They are going to make a stop in North Carolina as that is where they will be shipped from, at least that's what the site says.

I thought H hour had arrived on Thursday, as I got home from work a UPS truck was blocking my driveway and the driver was carrying a large package to my front door.

Could this be the long awaited Spartans? No, the package was for my daughter, bummer.
