A very good book just came out about the little discussed 30th President. Particularly interesting in these days of national debt and budget cuts. Coolidge was a bit of the Yankee stickler with money even the US government's. I recall Reagan naming him as his favorite President much to the surprise of the media.

I've heard Ms. Shlaes on the talk show circuit, discussing the book. I'm eager to get a copy of it. I enjoyed "The Forgotten Man", so I look forward to her review of Coolidge's administration.
