Corgi 1/32 Aircraft (1 Viewer)

I have a 1/32 Bf-109 with some landing gear issues. When you push the release button for the landing gear to come down one side will not lock into place. Therefore it's tough to display with gear down since it won't support the weight. Any repair suggestions besides glueing in place. It was purchased years ago like this and I just was going through some boxes and found it again.
Tried internet search and emailed Corgi but didn't get a response regarding repair. Just a reply saying parts not available.
