Looking forward to getting hold of the new set of Cowboys by Austin miniatures, in the meantime here are some of my painted Cowboys by TSSD.

well thanks buddy, praise indeed from over there in the "Lone Star State" itself......yeehaa!

Those are nice. I like the color pallet too. No bright primary colors.

Thanks Scott, I'm glad you noticed that, I spent several hours reading up and looking at pictures to see what these guys actually wore, with regard to fabrics and colours particularly !

Very nicely done figures. It's also nice to see that TSSD didn't give them the "Hollywood holsters" so often seen in westerns from the 50's and 60's and modeled on many toy gunfighters.

Thanks, yes I agree TSSD did a nice job on these sculpts, we here in the UK thought that all cowboys looked like the Lone Ranger or Roy Rogers until Clint Eastwood turned up the 1970's Spaghetti westerns !

I agree with Scott - very realistic colors. VERY HIGH quality of painting. Bravo!!!
I also checked your other posts, British 24th and Alamo defenders are also OUTSTANDING.
Chapeau bas Mike!
