I bought the first wave and I am planning to buy the second wave by the end of the year. I hope to be "to date" somewhere (or somehow) in 2009 :)

Pierre.

I have the following figures from the first and second releases and will have to add the Highlanders and Hussars.

I have all the First and am missing three from the Second. Hopefully, will get the remainder some time this year.

I will be getting all of the Highlanders, some likely in multiples. Possibly will get some of the Russian cavalry too. Sadly cannot manage the Light Bde. figures.

As I guess that Tony will take a look at this thread... Is there any chance that we see French figures in the future?

Also, a special set with the leaders of the five nations involved wold be great:
Napoléon III (France), Victoria (England), Abdülmecid I (Ottoman Empire), Victor-Emmanuel II (Kingdom of Sardaigna) and the tsars, Nicholas I and Alexander II (Russia).

Pierre.

Why don't we engage in that old Treefrog tradition: start a poll! My suggestion is that we list possible choices before we actually start one. Also, do we want multiple choices or just have each person be able to vote for one choice only. Let's consider what would be most useful for Tony and Mike in gauging what people may really want.

Multiple choice please.
Cheers

Pierre,

I would second that, French light infantry or Zouaves would make for a colourful set.

So, for example, more 93rd Highlanders, The Grenadier Guards at or after Inkermann, Heavy Brigade, British artillery, French Zouaves...

Brad,

Just the ticket!

In that case........French light infantry or Zouaves, British Artillery (long barrelled 18 pdrs), British Rifle Brigade, 88th Connaught Rangers, Russian Infantry in helmets, British Heavy Brigade, Turkish troops.

Jeff

Guys

A poll is a good idea. Please remember even if there is a good idea we only do a release every six months so maay not come round till a year!!

Myself and Andy have some ideas for December and we meet in June to finalise what we are going to do.

So may be good for some ideas for June 2009!

Thanks guys for your support they are really good figures. Costs like everything in the world have moved up so trying our hardest to keep them at as resonable price.

Thanks

Tony

Tony and I exchanged an email and I will wait until tomorrow to do a poll so if you have any more suggestions, please get them in. It will be a single choice poll because if it's a multiple selection one it becomes more like a wish list and we'd like this to be of use to the Nevilles; this will force each of you to make a decision about the set you'd really like.

So far this has been a great series!

Brad, thanks for allowing time for suggestions:

- Royal Scots Fusiliers
- Royal Artillery
- More Highlanders (93rd or 42nd)

Ken

Ken,

No sweat. Hope all is well. Hopefully, I don't get more than 20. If I do, I may have to do a poll about the poll!

The Battle of Malakoff.
