For all you Crimean War buffs and collectors, the Treefrog Resources section now has a page devoted to that conflict. If you know of any other web links that would be useful to add to this page, let me know. (Here or by PM) This page joins those devoted to the Napoleonic Wars, the Anglo-Zulu War, and World War I. Stay tuned for future pages devoted to other wars.

Randy,

I gather from your post that you put this together? well done if you did :)

Can any reference to the CW be added, I ask as I'm currently reading a series of novels on the CW (there is a thread already on these) and wondered if they might be a suitable addition.

Thanks Jeff. Yes I do the TF Resource pages. As you can see the only books I list on these pages are the Osprey publications. There are just too many books on each war or facets of that war to include. If I did so I would never get to the next war. WWII will likely be the biggest challenge, because even the online sources are overwhelming. But please feel free
to post your recommendations here on this thread.

For some reason folks on the forum are unaware of the Resources that could be used to help answer questions. There are quite a few manufacturers and collections illustrated there besides the Military History sections

P.S. I am always looking for new links to add.

With respect to books, I'd like to mention the following, recommended by Stickleback, Louis, Harry, Combat and Tony Neville:

Queen Victoria Little Wars. Just picked this up.

Hell Riders by Terry Brighton

Crimea: The Great Crimean War by Trevor Royle

A Most Desperate Undertaking by Alastair Massie

The Thin Red Line by Julian Spilsbury

A Bearskin's Crimea by Algernon Percy

I'm sure there are countless others so please post any other recommendations.
