These chaps look great. They are so quintessential ECW as probably the most recognised troops.

Enjoy

Excellent figures and diorama! One question though, where did you get the buildings or facades for the village from?
Cheers,
Brendan

Buildings are full 360 degree. They are a mixture of Barzso, Conte, TM terrain and the Church is a Small Wonders commission build - actually done for a Saxon village diorama.

These figures are great! I am sold on ATS for English Civil War. They are a decent value. Just put in my first order for the Royalist side of the conflict. Exciting! {sm4}

Just received my first batch of ATS English Civil War figures on the weekend... they are great! I went for glossies for this range to diversify my collection a little more. My next batch will be the Parliamentarian side. ATS also takes requests for a variety of poses and figures are good value IMHO...

:salute::

Well done. I hope to see some pictures soon. Nik is shipping reinforcements for my Royalist army and a large order of English Tudor army figures this week. He must have been busy.

Its great to hear so many positive comments about Alexanders Toy Soldiers, its a great company with a huge range.

Last week I received a couple of Napoleonic Mortar Crews that I needed to man some Hinchcliffe tubes.

I contacted Nik and said what I wanted and asked him to select suitable casting from is range of Royal Artillery Gunners. He replied that he was busy, due to the forthcoming London Show, but would get around to it in April.

He emailed me about a month later saying that the figures were posted, and when I was ready, I could pay for them.... How's that for service ???

Well I have been dealing with him for about 10 years, and I have visited his home/workshop, but its great to get that sort of service, especially when I'm on the other side of the globe.

Keep on supporting this small one man business because you get personalised service with a quality product :)

I have been buying ATS gloss figures for over ten years and agree with you on their great service.
Nik made many figures to comply with my diorama needs, including new sculpts and uniform painting.
While I bought many figures on my visits to the London shows the ones shipped to me in the US always came in well packaged.
A great range with quality and service!

Hi John,

Great to hear this piece of info...could you share his e-mail or website? Does he produce any interesting Victorian or WW1 Artillery?:salute:::salute::...we could complement my artillery park ^&grin^&grin
