CS & Britains size match (1 Viewer)

I have the Britains winter halftrack & it is 1/35 iirc. Figs are also on the small side.

Rob, IMO this is a no go for the WW2 lines. The CS figures are a 1/30, and a large 1/30 at that. The Britains are 1/32 and quite a bit smaller. Same for the vehicles. If the ACW lines are compared, IMO the match up in size is good. I seem to remember reading that CS were scaling the ACW figures to match up with Britains. Same also for the AZW line. -- Al

I know Joe (The LT) uses the Natal Carbineers with the Britains Zulu figures and they look good in his photos.

I'd say in regards to WWII forget it, even though we tamped down the scale its really a KC match there with ours being still a hair bigger.

ACW: pretty good maybe a tad bigger.

Napoleonic: pretty good as well.

Zulu: Carbineers and arty are fine: 24th came out a bit bigger.

Well it can't be WWII as there isn't much in the WB line up. So I am guessing it would be ACW ^&grin

I concur that CS ACW would work pretty well with Britains. I have some sitting close together, and the CS are only slightly larger - not very noticeable at all.

They look superb together, really good, thanks very much for taking the trouble to post.
