Just got the CS tank today, three words "I love it"
I kinda got on CS,s case because of its larger size than K&C, but forget it. This is one excellent vehicle.
The figures are also fantastic.
I thought it only fair that I critisized CS on this forum that I should recant. One great product.

Gary,

Its great to get your comment. We work so very hard to ensure the products are pleasing and fit within a reasonable budget.

Anyhow glad to hear your enjoying your piece, I have the Stuart front and center myself. In regards to the new Fallschirmjager, trust me we've been so conscious of our WWII scale that they've been made to fit in seamlessly with KC items.

Anyhow cheers! Great news that your enjoying the Stuart.

best regards,

Brian

I returned mine. It is too big to go side by side with my KC's and Figarti's. It is a beautiful model though

Totally understandable. Collectors will have to make a choice to begin right scaling their 1/30th collections or sticking with their current set-up.

A word to those that have begun collecting our armor:

We have been so overwhelmed by the positive response to our vehicles that we made the decision some months ago to begin rolling out an entire range of vehicles for both allied and axis forces.

Our vehicles such as the Stug, AB43, Panther tank and Stuart represent, in force, this new range: A beautiful, correct 1/30th scale series, with turret interiors, thrown tracks and amenable pricing. And really it's the collector that's created them, by the strong interest in all of the above.

Keep your eyes peeled in the next few months, it'll be a torrent!:D

Tally Hooo! Forward!

kind regards,

Brian

I would have expected it to be the right size to go with the most recent K&C and Figarti AFVs??

Terry

Cheers Terry:

I think it is and I am keeping mine! She does look like a monster when lined up with the newer K&C DD067 Stuart but not as bad when compared to the older DD023 version as pictured elsewhere on this thread. The AFV looks sharp with my Figarti items and the figures have improved dramatically which was a pleasant surprise. When staggered in my diorama they all look great!

Enjoy,
Marc

The older K&C AFVs were close to 1:32 scale, and I don't think any of the recent AFVs by any manufacturer goes with them side by side, including the recent K&C pieces. All of the manufacturers seem to have gone to an accurate 1:30 scale for their AFVs including K&C, Figarti, CS, FL and including the HB AFVs from several years ago. The early K&C, early Figarti, NMA and FOV are 1:32 and look noticeably smaller than the current crop of 1:30 AFVs.

Terry

Some of them may but some of them are classics in my view. The DD 67 is one of my favorites.

Agreed. I'm certainly not getting rid of my classic K&C AFVs - I have enough of the smaller size ones to put together in groups with each other anyways.

Does make it harder to mix and match, the new versus the old, though.

Brian ,as I stated in the other M8 thread, if you make a conventional Stuart turret for this vehicle, I will buy it and sell my underscaled K/C Stuart.....It is in your court..But remember this, if a collector has 20 plus vehicles that all seem appropriate to each other in size and scale, how real should your expectations be, that we would readily go out and buy something that did not, true 1/30 or not..:(Michael

Great comment. But really new products are, well just that new products. They should include the newest bells and whistles and speak of growth and realism, shading and weathering that the market continues to demand. Hence old products are just that, old products. That said, the older products have their own continued popularity. The mis-scaling being a sort of kitschy attraction as they age.

Our goal at TCS is to elevate and grow the the hobby as best we can. We are trying to enhance the 1/30th vehicles genre with proper scaling, enhanced detail and sharp weathering. If we do our job well enough you'll pack away your older items and enhance your collection with our products. In other words we are compelled to innovate enough to ensure your attention to our new products: true capitalism!

best regards,

Brian

I think th M8 Stuart is a wonderful piece and have to get it before they are all gone. I will of course be getting the winter version. Anybody looking for some K&C to trade?;)

I'm waiting for a Normandy Pz IV. By the way, I began collecting CS armor after the Marder III and Tiger were retired. I can't find them anywhere. Any plans for re-releases?

I think K&C is starting to increase the scale of their vehicles. Everyone knows they are under-scale. That's why I appreciate the CS series. They are spot on. I'm a wargamer and I play with my CS and K&C pieces. I know it's risky, but I made that choice years ago. Keep those gorgeous CS armor pieces coming.
