If it sports a Red Cross it is an armored ambulance. Geneva convention prohibited firing on marked ambulances but North Viet Nam was not a signatory. Take it from a former Medic

I made this from the Forces of Valor Improved Tow Vehicle 1/32 scale diecast using the Tamiya m577 plastic model kit. Needed some serious modifications to pull it off but I like the results. Correct on the ambulance comment, I used a picture from a vietnam war reference book as my inspiration.
