Hi Guys,

Here’s a little look back at K&C’s own tribute to the events of June 6, 1944.

Ideally I would have loved to have been able to release some of our newest D. Day British Infantry figures on this anniversary but due to COVID and the travel restrictions that stop us going into China all of our figures and fighting vehicles seem to take 2 to 3 times longer than before.

So, please bear with us, the new Tommies, I promise you, will be well worth the wait!

In the meantime here’s a fond reminder of some of our finest Tommies and Yanks helping to liberate France.

All the best,
Andy

That’s a wonderful building and combining with vehicles and figures just makes it amazing and realistic. Awesome Andy. Robin.

The pictures with the US paras are my favourites.
The British scene forms an ideal target for enemy artillery fire .
I love the sign on the side wall of the house " typical French"
Guy:)

No worries about D-Day. Just have to buy them later. Hope they don't clash with the Falklands release. That would be bad on the credit card{sm4}
The thing is I was so ready to buy a new range, I had to buy something. So I'm getting into Vietnam now.
Mainly because they are still new to buy and of the photos K&C and other people have posted. They look so good.
I watched "Full metal jacket" last night, and going to watch "We are soldiers" tonight to get in my mind how to display them.

With the British one and the traffic jam with a mix of people, machines and soldiers, I imagine this is what that single road to Arnhem must have been like.

Hi Rob,

Appreciate your understanding...
Re our 'Vietnam' range... If you do decide to 'jump in' to this series, you won't regret it... there are plenty to choose from AND there's a whole lot more in the pipeline (24 new figures at different stages of sculpting) as I write.

Here's a tiny taste...

All the best,
Andy.

Well that translates to plenty of legs in this series which is great news. Robin.

Recognise your Don McCullin inspired sketch Andy. One of the most powerful of his Hue photos I've always thought. Looking forward to the K&C take and hope to see some more Don McCullin inspired releases ! :salute::

Thanks Andy.

This is my generations war; therefore, more relevant to me!

"I'm all in", my Vietnam War collection is starting to rival my WW2 collection...Any preview on future Vietnam War series vehicles?

Also, any future releases planned for the Siege of Hue (circa 1968) or even the Fall of Saigon (1975). If not, still love the series.

Thanks,

Carlos

View attachment 276364 Would be nice to see the three pocket Grenade pouch as in the inspiration photo too as they seem to be on a lot of Marines web gear, as would the occasional back pack.
