Recently picked up 2 more D-Day British Troops at the London Show, from Matt at Hobby Bunker, really nice guy.
I am reading the new book by Frank Baldwin D-Day Gunners: The Royal Artillery on D-Day [to be followed by a book on American Gunners on D-Day]. Got me thinking what vehicles K & C will release to compliment the British D-Day troops and what i would like to see? A reissue of the M7 Priest, previously in the EA range, not a straight repaint, would need a little further development but would look great. The RM Centaur would be excellent, possibly a Sexton or a AA Crusader tank, all would fit nicely. Possibly even a new 6llb AT gun, which saw sterling action in Normandy and beyond.
What would you want/like?
Only have 6 of the British D-Day figures [Grass version] but will steadly pick up the rest and look forward to further editions to the range, mortar team, PIAT group, etc. However, i am sure what Andy releases will be impressive.
See picture below, also picked up WS131 German Htrack with 75mm gun from another seller.
