It's been a bit since we've had a release for our WWII: Das Deutsche Afrika Korps figure range, so we are very pleased to start the pre-order on our DAK version(s) of our BMW R75 Motorcycle Combination. The Reconnaissance battalion of a German Panzer Division functioned much like the cavalry of horse and musket armies, able to move rapidly and find and fix the enemy. The BMW R75 Motorcycle was an integral part of German Reconnaissance units. These incredibly detailed model are made up of mixed media, primarily resin with metal, photo etched, and plastic parts. The driver and passenger are separate parts and not fixed to the model so the MC's can be displayed with an empty passenger car or with no figures or accessories at all if desired. The MG 34 (on applicable models) is also removable as well. Passengers, riders, and accessories can be mixed and matched as desired amongst the variants. This version is presented more at rest while DAK016 is presented on the move. DAK015 is designed to be more at rest, DAK016 is moving, and DAK17 is slightly different with only a single figure, no MG34, leather stowage bags, and lots of added stowage. DAK015 and DAK016 are from Recon companies while DAK017 is from the battalion HQ. We are extremely proud of these wonderfully detailed models and we've done these three different variants for you to choose from or to use in combination with one another in displays of DAK on the move.
