And last but not least for the final release we'll announce in 2012 are some much asked about additions to our WWII: DAK figure range. We are very pleased to present the DAK version of our sFH 18 150mm Howitzer, two different 2 figure sets of DAK Artillery Crew, and the DAK version of our SdKfz 7 8 Ton Prime move to move it all! Used singly or in combination with one another, these sets can combine with our earlier DAK releases to make some really stunning dioramas of DAK Artillery on the move or at rest. My personal favorite is to setup the gun to be towed and then load up the Prime Mover with 7 different seated figures (DAK013/14/TC001). We think it just really looks the part and gives some impression of the scale and diorama possibilities of our Prime Mover.

The 150mm Schwere Feldhaubitze 18 was the primary WWII German divisional level heavy howitzer during the second World War. With a basic split-trail design and originally envisioned to be towed by horse, it had hard rubber tires and an unsprung axle. A two wheeled limber was added after its initial production, which we have also included in the set, that allowed it to be towed by such vehicles as the SdKfz 7 8 Ton Prime Mover. Our rendition of the gun is extremely well sculpted and beautifully painted and can be setup deployed to fire or limbered up for towing. Presented here with the world class sculpting and painting that you've come to expect from First Legion, DAK018 sFH 18 150mm Howitzer with Limber will make an excellent addition to any WWII toy soldier collection!

As an added feature to our 150mm Howitzer, the gun trails open and close and hook up to the limber for towing by a vehicle. The limber itself is a very highly detailed piece on its own and can be placedbeside the gun and crew when unlimbered to fire or can of course be used to tow the gun by closing the trails, mounting the gun on the limber, and attaching the limber to our new SdKfz 7 8 Ton Prime Mover making the ultimate DAK display! Further, we have providing TWO sets of gun brakes for this model, one set that hooks up to the ends of the trails when the gun is unlimbered and a second set to hang over the sides of the trails when the gun is limbered!

This extremely detailed and accurate model has a wide variety of configuration options making it perfect for displays either on the move or stationary and it comes with a wonderfully painted driver figure as well as options for both a retracted roof or fully closed roof display. When displayed stationary, sets DAK019 and DAK020 are wonderful complements to it as they can be standing around the model getting ready to move out or looking in the rear compartments which fully open and close on both sides of the model. Further, we have created a new Vehicle Stowage set GERSTAL048 that has been designed to fit perfectly into the rear metal racks of this model. Finally, sets DAK013 and DAK014 Seated Passengers fit perfectly in the back as shown. With all six figures placed inside, it certainly looks the part! With the roof options, the opening and closing storage compartments on both sides, the spare rifles in the passenger compartment rifle racks, and a wonderfully painted driver, this vehicle is certainly our finest effort to date.

Its great to see more GUNS & GUNNERS :)

I love that the gunners are 'at ease' and awaiting the next fire mission......

Also having the gun being able to be used in both towed and firing postion is a real bonus.

Detachable spades and jinker really make this set.

Well Done !!

John
