Finally got round to going to see this yesterday and I have to say I really enjoyed it very much indeed. I'm often a bit cynical about this type of film but this was very enjoyable. Does anyone know if there will be any further Batman films?

Batman's cool. Simmo.

Rob,

I really got into this Dark Knight movie trilogy even though I don't go for the comic book hero stuff too much. I agree that the Dark Knight Rises was well made. The word on the street however, is that there will be no more sequels in the Dark Knight series. This one was probably....most likely the last one.

Hey Mark,

That's a shame isn't it, with Robin finding the Bat cave and Batman being seen by Alfred I was sure it was an open door for more. I really enjoyed Heath Ledgers performance as the Joker, but this last film was somehow even better, oh well . Now my wife thinks we should give the new Superman film a go next year, like you Mark I'm not a big super hero fan , but I'll give it a try.

Cheers

Rob

I watched it cause a lot of the filming was done about 600 yards away from where I live. The Wayne residence is Wollaton Hall / Wollaton Park. I'm fortunate to have it on my doorstep (unfortunately, I've not discovered the entrance to the bat cave yet).

I wasn't expecting too much, but found myself really enjoying it. Looking forward to more.

Little known fact that Batman first wore the mask in the Bat cave as the Guano was getting on his nerves, or head to be precise.

You're not kidding anyone, Wollaton Hall is your house, you need a place that size for your Figarti Railyway:wink2:

Must say not only is it a very enjoyable film but Ann Hathaway in a Catsuit is easy on the eye isn't she

I just watched "Batman The Dark Night Returns" an animated movie based on frank millers ground breaking Dark Night comics from 1986. It comes out on blue ray and DVD later this month I suggest checking it out. Miller's Batman is what Nolan based his films on.
