Day trip amsterdam (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone ,
I am traveling to Amsterdam in a few weeks and will have two personal days .
I am wondering if anyone would know of a toy soldier manufacture of shop to vist in the Netherlands ?
I would also like to be able to vist a battlefield while there ,
It seems like ypers would be the closest short of Arnhem , but I am unsure if there is anything else I could get to within a day .
I will not have personal transportation so it will have be on my own or a tour .
It does seem like ypers would be the best option so far but unsure if it's possible on public transport ,
I am open to any suggestion but would like
Something where there is still some fortifications left .

First place to go would be the Ann Frank museaum in Amsterdam and the beer museaum great to outside Amsterdam the Ovloon museaum very good
