How many people here have gone into some form of debt or taken a small loan out on toy soldiers? I'm not talking about huge debt just for an upcoming show etc and you want 1000.00 or so to spend and you pay it back. I doubt if anyone will admit to this so it maybe a wated thread.

Hmmm, is someone doing market research for a booth at the next big show?

I haven't done so yet in regards to figures being rather new to the hobby but I have done so prior to an airshow in the past to get a few things. I borrowed from savings and paid it back over the next few weeks.

Perhaps it doesn't happen so much with toy soldiers but I know in the Military Antique collecting business it happens alot..it actually saves you money in the long run....or if its a rare item you either buy it or miss out...you just can't place an order 4 weeks later when you have the cash as the item will be gone it it may take you years ti find another.

I hate to break it to you, but credit cards in general are a major source of debt.
