As a First Legion collector of two lines --- American Civil War & WW2 I am trying to decide whether to start with the Union Field Artillery group or the Russian Scouts group. I think I am going with the Russian group as I really like those Amoeba smocks and pants. These would be my first Russians to enter the fray inside of my curio.
I tend to purchase whatever catches my eye at the time. Yes, its all good. I seem to notice something different each time I look at my collection. I was looking at Gerstal022 this morning and noticed the shrapnel hole in the Russian helmet on the base. This is the kind of
detail that keeps me coming back for more with First legion.

take the Russian scout team of course the only range I collect is WWII (maybe one day another range) seriously you can't go wrong with the Civil War sets or WWII, but I also seem to find different little things here and there with sets that I have looked at originally, like I said though either way it's all good in whatever you decide...Sammy

Either one would be a wonderful choice I think. I find it REALLY hard to stay in one area when dealing with First Legion as their products are simply amazing all around! I only collect American Civil War at the moment and have pushed most of my collecting towards First Legion now. The other line that has caught my eye and yours as well is WW2. I am really excited about them starting the Western Front and those 101st boys are calling my name to start collecting them, BUT...I am trying not to go off and spend too much money as I want to complete the 13th Alabama regiment. PLUS I cannot wait for the Iron Brigade release which I am sure is coming this year. So, don't worry as you are not the only one who is having trouble making up their mind with this wonderful company.
