Deleting Attachments (1 Viewer)

Another cry for help.

I noticed in my User CP that I'm presently using 6.7Mb to store 83 attachments. So, how do I delete these?
I've looked in the FAQ and can't find anything about deleting them, and there's no delete option when right-clicking.

You can't unfortunately. You would have to go back and edit your posts, which you can't do after a short period after posting. Tell me which threads and posts (by number) you'd like fixed and I'll try to take care of it for you.

Aren't these attachments pictures? If you deleted them the pics on your old posts would end up as big red x's.

Yes, they are pictures, but the vast majority of them are from my original (and now defunct) Close Encounters of the Best Kind thread. I've saved these to a different folder on my desktop and intend to put them into a new album for contacts and friends to see in my "Pictures and Albums". Besides, most of them are around 2 years old and the attachment folder is now full. So I'd like to create some more space in the attachment folder.

Woops, Brad; It's my original Close Encounters of the Best Kind thread I'm suggesting you delete.

NOT (Please God no)....Not my "More Close Encounters of the Best Kind" thread .....Please no....Don't delete that one (PANIC), I'm intending adding to that MCE of the BK big time when I get home. Which is now looking more and more like in around 2 months from now.

Uuuuugh....(caveman breaks down in utter despair at the very thought)....

Yup, on you go and pull the plug Brad. I've already saved all the photo's.
Sniff....It was one of the first threads I ever initiated....sniff....history....sniff.
