Getting back to toy soldiers.....JJD seems to be the only company still delivering on a regular basis. He has indicated that he will announce the May release pretty much on time.
I believe he built some inventory and his factories are back to work.
For the sake of their businesses and for collectors I hope K&C, FL and other get back on track soon.
Kudos to the dealers who continue to ship out their orders!

Yes .. some good news.

From the time some one says … "Hey, you know what I would really like to see released is a _______ !"

to the point where the item is actually posted here on TreeFrog and we hear, "The Dispatches are up. Wow wait until you see _____!"

How long is that, approximately? :rolleyes2:

And also, kudos to the collectors who've been making purchases, it's a two way street, so thanks to all of you...………………..

Well I don't actually know if it is true LaRRy - but in a conversation with James of JJDUK some years ago he said "it usually takes about two years from conception to release" (then again he was talking about the starting of a new series.)

Yup, Roy, that was what I was referring to in my question.

I would (imagine) that a lot of thought and effort goes into the planning of a series.

Some figures can be easily produced and got to market faster than others. Other may take a longer time to design, perfect and produce.

I used to wonder why there were "holes" in the numbering sequence of a series. To add onto the series, once it is going, (and is a proven success with good legs) may be a bit easier ...only my guess!

Very glad to see John has been able to "Keep Calm and Carry On"

Thanks, Roy,
