Mike Unglebee, better known on this Forum as unglebeemsj, asked me post these photos of his trip to Germany last year. More will follow.

Sorry for the quality of the photos but I had to reduce them significantly :(

Here is Mike's commentary:

These are photos I took while on a trip to Germany in Fall 2009. The aircraft are from the Deutches Technikmuseum in Berlin, the armour is all from the Panzermuseum in Munster. I have a passion for both WW2 German aircraft and armour, which carries over into collecting K&C. I just wanted to make these available to everyone, and can make larger, higher quality copies available to anyone that is interested, for example modellers. Interestingly enough, the Panzermuseum does not have a Tiger I, so they are in the market to purchase one. They are currently taking donations - apparently there are several Tiger I's in Russia for sale at the price of around 500 Euros each!

I visited the Panzer Museum in Munster about 10 years ago and it is awesome. They do have a King Tiger and Panther. I think the 500 Euros price for a Tiger is a typo error. I believe a real Tiger will fetch 500,000 Euros???
My K&C Winter Tiger cost me almost 500 Euros !!!

Very nice photo's thanks for sharing , Both are very nice Museums . Does anyone know who currently has the Tiger I that was formerly being left to rot out in the Elements at Aberdeen MD ? I was told a couple of years ago it was back in Germany being restored and was staying there when finished . Thanks Gebhard

Here are some more photos.

Nice photos. I like the way they show the tan colour on the Panzer III and the later darker tan tending to olive green on the long barreled Panzer IV. I think the darker colour was used on tropical camo by summer 1942 on Afrika Korps and some southern Russia AFVs. Photos of the Tunisian Tiger show a definite olive green tinge to the paint by 1943.
