I was strolling through Michigan Toy Soldier Company (MTSC) and I stumbled across this in there future release section:

http://www.michtoy.com/MTSCnewSite/..._metal_companies/upcoming_new_model_army.html

It appears they maybe producing the German:
• SdKfz 232 (8-Rad)- (Summer, Winter and Desert) Camo w/3 man, and the
• Sturmtiger 38cm RW61- (Summer & Winter) Camo w/2 man

Scheduled for April????

Okay, I must have my head buried into making too many dioramas to know this is probably an old posting and was never pulled back from public view by MTSC right, or is it?

Hi Carlos

There seem to be a lot of rumors and some folks that may even know for sure but no one is saying much lately. I know that the first vehicle mentioned was shown a long time ago and it may well be on its way I hope the Sturm Tiger is also going to be up next. I for one am really interested in their future offerings and I'm very happy with the mortar crew.

Carlos, Dave,
With the lynching that NMA received earlier on this forum (unwarranted in my opinion) they may not be in a hurry to post the new releases.

The SdKfz 232 looks great! I'm especially glad that NMA is doing a desert version which will definitely compliment my Afrika Korps collection. From the one top-down shot on MTSC's website, this version looks quite good.

Mike,
Just want to let you know that many of us on this forum are looking forward to your products. The mortar crew was a great start. I believe that there is a silent majority here that is eagerly anticipating your future releases.

Keep charging ahead!
Semper Fi!

Please let's not go there again and rehash a lot of issues. The jury is still out unlike Honour Bound.

I would bet that is right on Mich. Toys site. My dealer knows what is due next, but won,t tell me, as he is honoring NMA wish.
I just went on the other site and a very early post by then British Comando listed their expected releases for this year and both those vehicles were listed.

Hi Guys,

I received the first set of NMA and are more than pleased with it. They will do well if they can keep up the quality. I have had some emails from them about future offerings and they have not indicated to me anything other than the next pieces will be as good. So I for one am looking forward to seeing what they will put forth. As for the raking over the coals in the past we have had a discussion of this on this site and another one and I for one dont want to rehash this arguement. I will say this the set they released was well made and the paint is top notch so I give them good grades. I cannot compare to any other sets from either King and Country or Honour Bound because I dont have any. So I can only say that I like them enough to be interested in the rest of their line when it is released. Also I have seen one set on ebay so I guess not all of the sets went to folks that are collecting for the sake of collecting. Anyway i say lets wait and see but so far so good.

Dave

The set actually on eBay was listed by Bill Sager, an official dealer of NMA.

Pierre.

And it was listed at the suggested suggested price, not a wildly inflated price.

I have some sets left in stock. Being a new company a lot of collectors were waiting for the finished product to come out bfore purchasing. There has been a lot of very good feedback about there set and I think people are getting more comfortable.

Remember this set is sold out from NMA and may not be sold out from all the dealers yet.

The future products are looking very good and what they have in mind for other future releases is promising. I am excited about their future. It will definately help fill in a lot of holes.

I hope NMA makes an announcement soon for everyone so we can get images of the next release.

$80 is the retail price for this piece. We will be selling the remainder of our sets at this price.

Just had an e mail from Blake at NMA/Commando and he tells me that the Sturmtiger in both Winter/summer versions will be at the June toy soldier show in London.Has not yet produced the photos as he is still to finish the final product.Sounds good to me!

I think they would be nuts to do a plain old Panther. But if they were a bit daring they could do a varient of the Panther that would match well with the a varient of the Sd Kfz 251 an Sd Kfz 251/20 with the 60cm IR search light and the Infra-red equiped Panther platoon. Not a lot of them made but an interesting varient to be sure and one no one else will be producing anytime soon.

Dave

Sorry Red Devil but no Panther yet.I would imagine they will do one at some point though, can't really do German armour without doing a Panther can you.

Rob

Doing a Panther in the near future after Honour Bound and King and Country have done them would seem odd. It's important for them to find their own way.
