I came across a couple of eBay auctions for two sets of gloss WWI Germans in field uniforms, under the label, "Die Kaiserzeit":

This are interesting, because these are figures made from Schildkröt molds, and then packaged for sale. As such, they're a classic example of an enterprising homecaster's work.

Schildkröt molds are now part of the Nürnberger Meisterzinn catalog, if I am not mistaken.

Has anyone else ever seen this label?

There was once a group called the Imperial German Military Collector's Association, based in Keyport, NJ. Their newsletter was called "Kaiserzeit", and it makes me wonder if there could be a connection. The last I ever heard from anyone in that group was around 1995 or so; they took a table for a couple of years at our MFCA show.

An interesting find, in any case.

Prost!

I grabbed the images from the auctions.

Here is the one set, "Set Nr 11-Field Gray, Firing":

and the other set, "Set Nr 8-Prussian standard & musicians":

It's interesting-on a closer look at the images of the boxes, it looks like the labels are pasted on over an existing label. That's another detail that makes me think someone who cast his own, decided to try to make a little money from his hobby.

Also, the flag with the band doesn't look like it's from one of the Prussian regiments in the old army, at first glance. I'll have to look through my references and see what it most resembles.

Prost!
