I came across a couple of eBay auctions for two sets of gloss WWI Germans in field uniforms, under the label, "Die Kaiserzeit":

This are interesting, because these are figures made from Schildkröt molds, and then packaged for sale. As such, they're a classic example of an enterprising homecaster's work.
Schildkröt molds are now part of the Nürnberger Meisterzinn catalog, if I am not mistaken.
Has anyone else ever seen this label?
There was once a group called the Imperial German Military Collector's Association, based in Keyport, NJ. Their newsletter was called "Kaiserzeit", and it makes me wonder if there could be a connection. The last I ever heard from anyone in that group was around 1995 or so; they took a table for a couple of years at our MFCA show.
An interesting find, in any case.
Prost!
