Hi guys

Just wondering if anyone had any particular preferences regarding manufacturers of buildings and other assorted diorama accessories for displaying alongside K+C figures - I collect LAH and Waffen SS WW2 exclusively - :)

Hey Richard-

Well, I like the Build-A-RAMA stuff. I am kind of wrestling with this question myself- I am actually thinking about just building my own and seeing how that turns out- will probably look like rubbish but will be entertaining nonetheless..

BAR are very good but only available on line for the UK as i Think!! not 100% sure there is not a stockist in the UK. I have used a few of their bits in my dios for our display.

The one i use a lot of is JG (John Gittens) available online direct from John or via our site, or of course Treefrog!

His 1/30th stuff is really good and even some of his 1/32 works well with K&C. We have a new cobble street that works very well with LAH and i am creating a new scene with it in for August shows.

Tony,

Which JG cobble stone street model did you use for the LAH display? How many pieces of the cobble stone street are needed for the 3 LAH HQ facades? Do you have a panoramic view of the LAH diorama that you've posted in your UK K&C website that you can post/or send to my email account?

thanks.

The display i am working on at the moment is 4ft long and the cobble sections are 12"x12". they are available from us (not on website yet) CB03 Cobble street £16.95 each.
If you have the Two annexes and a main entrance you will need three cobble sections as the frontage of this is about 2.5ft. they are deep enough to give a real clear feel. I have made paths (side walks) and curbs out of foam.

I will see if i can track down a pic for you of the one we have already and when i get the other one on display at the NEC in Sugust i will take another pic.

regards

Tony

Hi Tony

Indeed, I have one or two bits and pieces of JG myself, and I'm familiar with the fact you sell his 1:30 scale stuff via your site - I agree, they are very nice. I think you're right regarding BAR - I haven't been able to find a UK dealer - their stuff looks cracking on the web site, though - :)

I have quite a few pieces from Build-a-Rama and they work really well with my dioramas. I also think the quality and price are great - they especailly seem to work great with the King and Country Figures.
