Diorama Help (1 Viewer)

So I'm getting my list together of the things I want to buy for my first diorama, and I'm looking for a mixture of grass and woodland terrain. I've found a couple bags of the woodland terrain on the Build-A-Rama sight. Anyone have any clues where I can get a bag of the grass terrain? Or am I stuck with only the bases that they make?

There are many places that sell grass.Woodland Scenics,H&A,Timberland Scenery,Scenic Express are a few that come to mind.

Mark is 100% correct; try scenic express, specifically a product called Silflor, it is off the charts incredible.............

Go to Dollar Store or cheapie Walmart.

Floral section or silk plant section.............green moss is $1.00 a bag.

If too "grassy", bump in coffe grinder.

Can go from clumps, to coarse, to fine grind, to powder.

Really really really cheap.

I'm going to use my K&C ACW figures for this dio. The silflor product looks like a winner to me, so I may order one of their mats to start with!

I have only recently dipped my toe into dio's and i must say with JG Miniatures,Build a rama,Woodland scenics and Hudson and Allen we are really spoilt for choice and they all do some superb stuff.

I'll second that, that's Connie Schulte's online store, and he gave us a look at his paper plants at the HZ Forum the other week. Very realistic.
