Terry,

Looks like you've gone to photobucket but the photos are coming out small. Maybe the photobucket experts around here can tell you how to fix it. Otherwise very nice :)

Terry's absolutely right Brad.
He's telling you to click on the thumbnail.
This takes you to Photobucket.
Once there, you'll see the photo at 59% of fullsize.
If you want to see the full-size photo or add it to an album, right-click on it and then left-click on "save picture as" to a folder, say for example, "My Pictures", or a folder you've previously created on your desktop - e.g. "Terry's Photo's".
You can then use Windows Picture and Fax Viewer, (or any other graphics utility), to open them up at 75%, 100%, 125% of the original size - or whatever percentage you want really.

Yup, nice scenario PW.

Cheers
Harry

If you want the photos to come up at full size from Photobucket, then you need to copy and past the 4th/last option down, which is something like 'img-something'

Nice collection of early 'greys' Terry

Once again a great looking collection you have there.

I merged Terry's two different threads because I thought it would be useful for Harry's and Simon's comments to stay as they are very knowledgeable on photo bucket and it may help others when they go to post photos.

Thanks - got it now

Terry,

I really like your collection of early Germans. I sure wish I had the early Panzer II.

That's how I normally do it Simon. You left-click on "IMG Code" and this highlights the, err, Image Code. As you say, you then copy and past each code individually. A quicker way to do it is to copy each Code into a Word document - then paste the lot into a post in one go, as in these examples below;

However, I like the way Terry did it. By clicking on a thumbnail, you're taken directly to the album in Photobucket. If you want to look at subsequent photo's in that particular album, then all you have to do is click on the Photobucket thumbnail, instead of having to return to the next photo in the post - must save Mrs Reuss some bandwidth doing it like that too. I would think.

What I've been thinking of doing for a while now, and I'm going to try it over the next couple of weeks, is putting a Macromedia "Flash" movie together using some of the new miniature figurine sets that are presently gathering dust under my worktable at home, (they were delivered 4 weeks ago while I was offshore and I haven't even seen them yet).
Then I'll see if I can figure out how to upload it to Photobucket or a similar internet imaging service. I've been kicking this one around for ages and even have the background music in mind.
Using Terry's method, it should just be a case of click on the link - and voila - The Heid's Technicolour Japanese Invasion of Wake Island will be up in lights.

I've a few other things to take care of first though. Like, having a quiet word in the lug of a late-middle-aged "chum"...!!! Depends how long I'm detained for while I'm at it I guess.
Sigh.
;)....

Hope the video goes well. Looking forward to it, but expect a bit of fiddling with these first trys. :)

Looks like some new ones there H? Nicely done. Re photobucket, I now open up the forum and photobucket at the same time and just copy and paste from one to the other. Took me years to figure out how to do that as well, didn't realise it was as simple as it was......D'oh!

You can tie into Photobucket 2 or 3 ways depending on if you want to show 1 or 2 photos, or many photos, or just show some big ones.

I need to get some desert dirt for the scenarios like Harry has.

Nice parking lot! German Grey really looks right. A Pz.III would look good in that group if K&C would just make one. I'd also like to see a remake and improvement of that wonderful Pz. II piece. Just can't bring myself to pay those E-bay prices for it!
