Here is one in my collection, General La Tour Moubourg who served on Napoleon's Grand Armee. He lost his left leg from the knee at the Battle of Leipzig in 1813 but went on to serve in the Restoration Government up until 1821. He was quoted as famously stating when his valet wept upon sight of his injury: "What are you crying about, man, you have one less boot to polish". This figure is one of the 185 'Napoleon's Marshals and Generals' series by Hachette. John
