White Shoes and a Purple Parasol, pith helmets, and beige clothing were most popular during excavation of King Tut's tomb in 1922. Beware the curse of the Mummy!

A few pictures of my current bookshelf diorama as seen:

Good scene Rob! Thanks for sharing your Egyptian collection.

Cheers,
Grey

Excellent scene Rob :salute:: Though I fear Monsieur Poirot is about to be ripped off by the Egyptian hawker, Miss Molestrangler might distract him away ! :wink2::tongue:

Very cool. Archeology has a mystique that is often as fun as the civilization/time/events/etc. that they were rediscovering.
Great job.

Thank you Paddy. It really does. I've liked the theme since I was a kid and got that first GI Joe Adventure Team Archaeologist set. I've truly enjoyed every piece among this theme and expanding my dio to incorporate them.

Been watching a lot of Poirot with the Mrs. lately. She really enjoys those mystery shows. Hopefully no one will murder the fair skinned Celia or even that Egyptian merchant. You know Poirot only shows up when their is fowl play. ^&grin

My pleasure Grey, thank you. You know I enjoy it.

This a neat well balanced display, one to be proud of Rob.
Thanks Robin. You've certainly created some impressive Egypt dioramas as well. Always enjoy your inclusion of new pieces.

Nice one Rob. I only have Miss Molestrangler from this series but am tempted to add more (although I currently already have too many series I collect)

Big, rich, colourful scene, many things to see, I also like car in the scene.{bravo}}{bravo}}

Thanks Duke. Completely understand. I've passed on a few really great themes for the same reason, not to mention space. The Mrs. says "I'm invading all the rooms". {sm4}

Thanks much Poppo. I like the little Turkish staff car as well.

Awesome scene Rob. So much happening
Thanks Jason, sort of a challenge with these "more mature collections". When you start a new theme and just have a few figures, you look for pieces/structures to add (see the obelisk). Later as the dio fills up, you try to figure out how to squeeze in more pieces.^&grin
