Display Cases (1 Viewer)

I also have an IKEA Billy system too in my crowded apartment in Hong Kong

I got customized spot lights inside as well which cost me about 12 US dollars per light bulb.

My only problem is that it is not deep enough, so I didn't get the K&C Hitler's Berchtesgaden yet because it doesn't fit.

It fits the figarti diorama farm house quite well.

Pics to follow soon.

Pics please!

Yes, they are only 10" deep so will not accomodiate every type of display. However, I am amazed at what you can display on these shelves.

More recent photo of other wall and some of the displays.. The lights on top of cabinets are Ikea - Very bright pure white light.

Thank you Jeff.

By the way all Ikea glass is safety glass....and Ikea makes many other very nice cabinets to choose from. The Billy System is a bookcase system. Note how they fit flush with the wall as they come with a cut out to miss your baseboard. Nice touch.

More example of what can be displayed....

The key is width and depth. 22 in wide is just acceptable but limiting. 36 in is great if you can find something that wide. It adds so much more scope. You can even have units facing eachother.

Depth is critical. 12 in is minimum. 16 or 17 in allows much greater scope.

I can do a dio 44x13 but it spans 2 cabinets.

Thanks again for all the advice and help!

Pat - I agree with Sahara, we def. need some pictures of those cabinets stocked!

D*mn they are extremely nice as well!+:)

Thanks Scott, I was lucky I was able to pick up one more a display model, for half the price of the first one I got. The step risers are great.

Oh, and congratulations, on your grades.
